About me
chicago-based animator and zinester
Hello! My name is Eli Rayas and I am a 2D animator & designer with a BFA in Traditional Animation. I specialize in character design & animation, with additional work experience throughout the 2D pipeline. I also have experience with 3d animation. My personal work consists of hand-animated short films, comics, and illustrations. I have worked in a variety of projects, from collaborative short films to solo freelance advertising, and have learned many programs and tools in my experiences, particularly the Toon Boom suite, Clip Studio Paint, Adobe suite, Google suite, Blender, and Office suite. I am often found working on longer-form comic art, children's books, and personal zines. When I'm not doing art, I love road-tripping to the National Parks, traveling to new countries, baking birthday treats, playing guitar, and goofing off with friends.
